light multiplies light

Yesterday, we talked about rest — and I’ll be honest, I didn’t see that ending coming either.

I’ve wrestled with rest my entire life.
Even in kindergarten, I was deeply offended by nap time.
Why stop when there was so much to do and create, so much left unfinished?

And that resistance followed me for decades.

Achievement.
Momentum.
Output.
Hustling. Proving.

And to be clear — it worked.

I was rewarded for it.
Awards. Jobs. Promotions. Opportunities. Accolades.
Doors opened. Rooms welcomed me in. Systems affirmed me.

Because the world is very good at rewarding performance.

Until it isn’t.

Until the pace becomes unsustainable.
Until your body sends signals that ambition and drive can’t outrun.
Until success no longer feels like alignment — just exhaustion masquerading as endurance.

That’s when I learned something important:
Just because something works doesn’t mean it’s right.

I still go hard — but don’t get it twisted.
Because now my hustle is holy.

It’s rooted, not frantic. Anointed.
Intentional, not compulsive.
Led by discernment, not fear.

And rest has been teaching me something unexpected about power.

Because today — Day 15 — is about your superpower.

Here’s the truth we don’t say often enough:

Your light shines brightest when it’s not exhausted.

We talk a lot about light and darkness, but sometimes that language softens what needs to be named plainly. Evil is evil. Harm is harm. Injustice is injustice. And the way we confront it is not by shrinking, dimming, or blending in — but by becoming fully ourselves, rooted in truth, clarity, and courage.

There is room for every light to shine.

Not competing.
Not crowding.
Not canceling one another out.

Because light multiplies.

When one person steps into their God-given giftedness — honestly, unapologetically — it doesn’t take away from anyone else. It raises the frequency of the whole room. It gives permission. It invites courage. This is how liberation spreads. This is how fear loosens its grip. This is how evil is pushed back — not abstractly, but concretely, through truth embodied by real people.

You were not created by accident.
You are not extra. (Or basic. LOL)
You are not interchangeable.

There is something uniquely entrusted to you — a way you see, speak, build, lead, create, or love that no one else can replicate. And the world doesn’t need a diluted version of you. It needs the real thing.

Letting your light shine is not ego.
It’s obedience.

But here’s the paradox of the Kingdom:

More is less.

The more we trust, the less we strive.
The more we surrender, the less we grasp — and the more clearly we see.
The more we rest, the less we rush.

This is not weakness. It’s wisdom.
And this is how we live from alignment instead of exhaustion — and bear much fruit.

There comes a point when more effort produces less fruit — and wisdom is knowing exactly when you’ve reached it.

So today, ask yourself:

  • What comes alive when I stop forcing?

  • What shines when I allow myself to be held, not hustled hardcore?

  • What gift have I been muting because I was afraid it was too much — or not enough?

Your superpower isn’t something you manufacture.
It’s something you allow.

And when you let it shine — fully, freely — you don’t just change your life.
You change the atmosphere.

So if you’re ready to stop shrinking,
stop scrambling,
and stop dimming your light —

Let’s rise and shine yall.

Tomorrow, we move from power to stewardship.
From shining to tending.

See you there.
