the rest is still unwritten
Your story isn’t finished.
Every day gives you a new page and a new chance to live fully, speak honestly, and step courageously into the narrative God created for you.
This is your permission to release the past, reclaim the pen, and embrace the chapters still waiting to be written.
Even if the world tries to define you, past wounds try to silence you, and parts of your story feel broken or unrecognizable—taking ownership is radical, freeing, and transformational.
Owning your story doesn’t mean ignoring pain, pretending you’re perfect, or skipping the hard work of reflection. It means acknowledging where you’ve been, naming what has shaped you, and deciding who you want to be moving forward.
It’s easy to let others write our story for us—family, friends, colleagues, society, even culture itself.
Opinions, expectations, and judgments can feel like ink on our pages. But they are not.
You are the author and co-creator of your life. Only you get to decide what remains, what changes, and what ends.
And this is true freedom: to live, love, and become — from a place of authenticity. To speak and walk in truth. To set boundaries that provide clarity and honor your spirit. To write chapters that reflect your heart, faith, and calling.
Advent reminds us that each new day is a new opportunity to live intentionally.
So even if the past chapters feel messy and pages are scarred by disappointment or fear, God has entrusted you with the pen.
Reflection Questions for Day 10:
What part of my story have I been letting others write for me?
Which chapters feel unresolved, and how can I reclaim them?
How can I step into the next page with courage, faith, and honesty?
If today were a blank page, what would I choose to write?
Prayer for Day 10:
God, help me to own my story.
Give me courage to release the past I cannot change,
courage to make amends, and clarity to embrace the path you have set before me.
Let me write each day with intention, grace, and authenticity.
Help me trust that the rest is still unwritten,
and that with you, every chapter can reflect truth, love, and purpose.
Amen. ✨
Although your story is yours to write, you were never meant to write it alone. Tomorrow we explore prayer — the sacred dialogue that connects your heart to wisdom, your actions to divine guidance, and your story to a greater plan. See you there.
